Other Local Events and Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer with Students to Science!
S2S’s mission is to inspire, motivate, and educate elementary, middle, and high school students in economically disadvantaged communities to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM subjects) and foster a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce. We are excited to welcome volunteers to help engage students in hands-on STEM experiences and to inspire them to pursue their own STEM journeys!
We have many volunteering options, with flexible schedules to fit your needs:
In-person opportunities in the labs in our two Technology Centers in East Hanover and Newark.
Great for individuals or small groups/team-building
Virtual options that allow you to livestream into a classroom
Join in from anywhere with as little as 15 minutes of time commitment.
