Dear Educator,
The Princeton and Trenton Sections of the American Chemical Society are jointly sponsoring the Outstanding High School Chemistry Teacher Award
The purpose of this award is to recognize and encourage outstanding teachers of high school chemistry within the Princeton ACS and Trenton ACS Sections, and to motivate others to emulate them. Up to two winners will be selected and they will each receive a cash award of $300.
We know there are talented and dedicated chemistry teachers in our area that may have contributed in a particularly unique and effective way this past year. This is an excellent opportunity to recognize the work of a chemistry teacher at your high school and we encourage you to nominate a candidate or perhaps resubmit a nomination from a previous year.
Nominations must be received by April 28, 2024. The contest details are presented in the enclosed ‘Instructions and Guidelines’.
Email Louise Lawter at louise.lawter@gmail.com if you have any questions about the Award and/or Nomination process.
We look forward to receiving your nomination!
Sincerely,
Louise Lawter, Princeton ACS Section and Danielle Jacobs, Trenton ACS Section,
2024 Outstanding HS Chemistry Teacher Awards Coordinators
